Welcome to Middle School!! This is my 19th year at Gavilan Peak and my 30th year teaching overall. I have been teaching middle grades for most of my career and they are my favorite!! I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to Anthem in 2003. I am married and have 6 children total. I have 4 sons, a stepson and a stepdaughter and 7 grandchildren. My boys all attended Gavilan Peak from Kinder through 8th grade!! This year I will be teaching 8th grade Science and 7th grade ELA. I expect that students will be prepared for class and participate to the best of their ability. I communicate through email, so please be sure the parent email is correct in Power School. In addition, we will have a middle school remind. I am the moderator of both Student Council as well as NJHS. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding these clubs.
