A message from our Athletic Director:
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am excited to get to know our new athletes and reconnect with our returning athletes! Our DVUSD athletic seasons align with those of the Peoria and Dysart School Districts. The seasons will be as follows:
FALL & WINTER:
6-8 Grade Boys Baseball, 5-8 Grade Boys and Girls Cross Country
6-8 Grade Girls Softball, 6-8 Grade Boys and Girls Volleyball
SPRING:
6-8 Grade Boys and Girls Basketball
6-8 Grade Boys and Girls Spiritline
*6th graders will be allowed to try out for all sports. However, if we have enough players from 7th & 8th grade, they may not be able to play/make the team.
All athletes must be cleared through the Register My Athlete website before they can TRY OUT for their sport. Now is a great time to get those physicals done before the school year starts. A link to the current form is below.
Baseball & Softball tryouts will be the week of August 17, so all athletes must have all paperwork completed online and their physical uploaded by August 15 to try out. More information, including the link to Register My Athlete (Aktivate), can be found below.

REGISTER MY ATHLETE
Before an athlete can participate, they must complete all paperwork online. We will be using the Register My Athlete (Aktivate) website to submit all physicals and paperwork. Please follow the link below. No paperwork will be accepted in printed form. All paperwork must be submitted online, or the athlete will not be allowed to participate.
